What's Happening

The Pumpkin Parade is Thursday, October 28, 2021. Our book is It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. The students need to dress up like the characters in the book. I sent a list of the characters home with the students. 

The Fall Festival is Friday, November 5, 2021; it will begin at 5:30 and continue until 8:00. Our class baskets are Boy Legos and Girl Legos. When the students bring something in for the basket they can have a Homework Pass or Treasure Box. We will need to have the basket ready on Thursday, November  4, 2021. BJ's have Legos at an awesome price. Thank you for all your help with the basket. Our game will be decided this weekend and I will let you know Monday with the Homework sheet what the game we choose.

The students are working hard in the classroom. They are so excited about the iPads but they are enjoying learning about how God created this world. Please continue to read with your children. We have started working with money in Math and the students will be learning how to buy items from a store. In Science we are working on how animals live on this earth, We are finding out where they get their food and how they take care of the their families. 

Take time to enjoy the beautiful fall leaves. If you and your child find some you would like to share with class, please bring them in.

FALL FUN

The First graders at Lee Christian School have been busy for the first half of October. We have been working hard on improving our Reading skills. F-3 is sponsoring our first Pumpkin Parade! It will take place on Thursday, October 28 2021. The students are so excited. There will be a letter going home on Monday, October 18, about the Pumpkin Parade and what each student will have the need to do for the parade. Our book is "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown." The students will be dressing up like the characters in the book. 

Our school will be having our annual Fall Festival on Friday November 5, 2021. It will begin at 5:30pm and it will continue until 8:00pm. Our game is the Cake Walk. I will be sending addition information about the game. Our class basket is Lego: We will do a boy Lego basket and a girl Lego basket. There will be more information coming home soon.

Thank you for helping your children with their homework each night. They have learned a lot the first quarter. I know they will be awesome students the second quarter too.
