School Is Fun

The first graders at LCS have been very busy. We have been learning about the Pilgrims. They are learning about how the Indians helped them. The First Thanksgiving is what we will learn about in the next week.

We are learning about the living things and the nonliving things in Science. The class will continue to learn about animals in the coming weeks.

We are working on singular and plural nouns in English. We will be writing our Journals every week.

We will have the First Pumpkin Parade on Thursday afternoon. The students are so excited! We have the best book and our class loves the book; It's the Great Pumpkin Patch, Charlie Brown. We want the students to enjoy reading and we hope we can do more things to encourage them to read. Please continue to Read with your children. They are working hard at school to improve their Reading skills.

We will have a Thanksgiving Feast on Thursday or Friday of next week. I will send a note home about the Thanksgiving Feast on Monday. Thank you for all your support with our LCS.
