In All Things Give Thanks

Attention Parents: 

This is what's happening next week:

Monday is a special day filled with crafts, games, food and a time to worship the Lord with our Thankful hearts. 
Tuesday we will have a Thanksgiving snack. We will have a fun day!


School will resume on Monday December 2, 2019. The Christmas Program is Monday, December 16 for K-5 - 2nd grade. The 
Christmas Program for  3 grade - 5 grade will be Tuesday, December 17.  We will have more information about the Program as the date approaches us.


Attention Students: 

Please read and practice  your sight words! Please play and enjoy your time with your family and friends!

It's cold outside

Attention Parents; 

The month of November is quickly passing by so here is what's going on;

On Friday, November 22, The shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child are to be turned in on this day. Our class we be having a special afternoon on Friday November 22. We are having a movie time and other funs will be going on. 

On Monday November 25 we are having a time for our class to learn more about Thanksgiving. K-5 through 2nd grade will work together. We will have our rooms set up for different things to take place. We will have Art, Food (we will make things items using food.) and other fun things. In the afternoon, we will do things outside that the Pilgrim and Indian children might have done during the first Thanksgiving Feast.
On Tuesday November 26 we will have a small party and we will be doing fun things in the afternoon.

Thank you Parents for all your help with the Fall Festival. We are so blessed to have parents that support and care for our school. Thank you again!

Our class is learning about Thanksgiving this month. We will have a Thanksgiving Party on Tuesday, November 26. We have a lot of fun things for our students on Monday November 25. We will be doing Arts and Crafts, Games and other exciting things. We will be working with K-5 and 2nd grade. We  will send more information home soon.

The second quarter begins Monday, October 24; Here are some of the things that are  going on.

Fall Festival  Saturday November 2, 2019 at 11:00am - 2:00pm.
Parent Teacher Conferences   Monday November 4, 2019 (No School for the students)
OCC Shoeboxes Collection Friday November 22,

Parent Teacher Conference forms will be sent home Monday. If you would like a conference, please send in the Conference form back to school.

Please help with the Fall Festival Basket: We need more items for the basket. Please help us have the best basket!!

I will be sending home sight words, we will review them each day at school. Go over them when you can. This will help improve their Reading Skills. 

We are working with money in Math, when you are riding in the car ask your child about he value of each coin. 

We will soon start learning the Rules for Capitalization for sentences.  Your children  are doing an awesome job learning the Parts of a Sentence.

WOW!! We made it through our first quarter of the school year of 2019/2020!

Parents please don't forget our Field trip on Wednesday, October 23. We leave the school at 8:45. Students must wear Lee Christian shirt. Please pack your lunch.

Thank you Parents for supporting our class in The Penny Wars. The class enjoyed their Pizza Party on Thursday.

How:  Students will ride the bus to the Farm.
**We will leave the school at 8:45 and return to school at 1:30.

Our First quarter will end Thursday October 24. There will be a teacher workday on Friday October 25, (No school for students)

Our Class won the First Penny War  for the Elementary at Lee Christian School. Thank you to all MY AWESOME PARENTS for all your help with this event! We had an amazing Pizza Party on Thursday, October 17!

Fun In First

                                                  FALL IS HERE

We are so excited about the wonderful Fall weather. We are enjoying the cooler days on the playground. We are also excited about our Field trip on Wednesday October 23,2019. Please don't send in money for adults; You can pay at Gross Farms!

Leaves need to be brought in for the Leaf Collection by Tuesday October 15,2019. The students will work on this project at school. 

Our Fall Festival is just around the corner! Please bring in items for the Toys and Videos basket. We could use any Toys, Movies, Video games, Board games, and Gift Cards. 

Parents; Please sign your child's Reading Log each night after they have read. Thank you for all your help and support.
